The Tarot is an intricate system of archetypal symbols that relate to the fundamental building blocks of human life and to the functioning of the human psyche. It is a divinatory tool that extends back several hundred years; many claim that it contains secret knowledge from the priestly initiations of Ancient Egypt. The Tarot is empowering in the sense that it opens a channel of direct communication - albeit spoken in symbol – with a higher realm of intelligence.

"the more clearly you can see the flow and effect of patterns in your life, the more you can transform yourself into the individual you want to become."

Using the cards facilitates self-knowledge and self-development, which Carl Jung envisaged as a process of individuation.

As symbolism is the language of the unconscious, dreams and spontaenous visions, Tarot activates the intuitive mind and can enhance the Seer's ability to see beyond the mundane world, into the deeper currents of existence. It is a language akin to the dreamscape.
