Welcome to Our World: How Things Are Set Up!

Session Length: 60 Minutes

Have you been taught that sometimes “bad things happen to good people”? The “life is hard” and there is little you can do to change that?

In this 60-minute session, you’ll discover a new way of looking at life and the things that happen in it. As you learn to use this system in your everyday life, you’ll find things make more sense, are less upsetting and baffling to you, and become more manageable.

Leave with practical tools that empower you, and can boost your performance, strengthen relationships, and allow you to take charge of your life with clarity and confidence.

Class Intention

This series introduces participants to the Earth is a Giant School framework, using the concept of “The Earth as a Giant School” to explore how difficult and/or painful challenges can be understood and what you can do to resolve them.

Through guided learning, practical exercises, and real-life examples, participants will develop a process for working with their challenges. End the “same old issues” and end the need to ask others to change. Take charge of your life by taking charge of your own self.

This is for you if…

• Are tired of not knowing what to do when you encounter challenges or feel overwhelmed about bringing up your issues to others, often without resolution.

• You’re ready to become as balanced and grounded in your personal life as you have learned to feel in areas of life in which you're comfortable.

• You want clarity on why and how life is designed to work, you feel like you don’t know enough yet to make effective personal decisions, yet you’re ready to learn.

• You sometimes feel like you give too much of yourself away, are taken advantage of, or have a difficult time sticking with what you know is right for you.

• You want to develop your ability to set and hold personal boundaries, and why it is vital for your mental health and personal power to do so. (In this class, we’ll define personal power that is uniquely yours and works effectively in the world.)

Description

Life for all of us can be hard, not only because of what is expected of you, but also because of our changing times, economic challenges, work and family responsibilities, and just "everyday life." How do we take care of ourselves, develop lives we enjoy, and deal with the challenges?

This course is to take some pressure off of you by giving you precious information about how life works best—and how it is designed to work—so you can feel in charge.

This one-hour course offers you knowledge, skills, and support to get in charge of yourself.

This first course offers you the knowledge, skills and support to:

• Develop your ability to face and resolve challenges and experiences that arise for you

• Reduce angry or fearful responses when unexpected things happen

• Provide you with steps for facing and handling whatever happens in your life

• Give you skills that work for all situations, and for the rest of your life.

Take Aways

• Clarity on what challenges and “problems” are, why we have them, and what we are intended to do about them.

• Practical tools for working with problems and challenges that you can use now, and for the rest of your life. These tools create long-lastng solutions and open the door to the life you really want to live.

• A new understanding of how life works—when you use what you’ll discover your life will never be the same again. Worry, anxiety and feelings of helplessness will fade away. Your life can change for the better in every one of your days, for decades to come.

Prepare for This Session

• Handouts covering important information will be provided.

• Something to take notes on for your personal reflections.

• Curiosity about your own experiences and patterns you’d like to better understand or master.

• Briefly stated questions for the Q&A portions—about puzzling situations or challenges that you want to get in charge of.

This session is brought to you by The Wellness Universe. I’m happy to serve you as your session leader! The suggested donation or reduced donation options help us to support you and our Wellness Universe community.
